Durations of the Turkish phonemes are investigated in this study using the high quality digital records of two adult male utterances. Three recording types were used: reading of just one-word, reading of a phrase and reading of a sentence. The recordings were labelled by looking at the changes of time-waveforms and formant frequencies. Durations of the Turkish phonemes and affecting factors on the durations are analyzed for both informants individually. Moreover, matching patterns between the duration of the phonemes produced by the two informants are also observed.
