Yaşar Akgün graduated with high honors and as the top student from the Department of English Translation and Interpretation at Kütahya Dumlupınar University. Continuing his postgraduate studies in Translation Studies at Ege University, Akgün currently works as a research assistant in the Department of English Translation and Interpretation at Izmir University of Economics.
